Project Workflow

How It Works

1

SMS Command

User sends an SMS (e.g., "#ON" or "#OFF") from a mobile phone to the GSM module's SIM number.

Reception

The GSM Module (SIM800) receives the message and sends it to the microcontroller via UART (Serial).

Processing

The Microcontroller (Arduino/8051) parses the text string to identify the command.

4

Execution

Based on the command, the controller triggers a Relay to switch the AC electrical appliance ON or OFF.
