How It Works

Photovoltaic Effect

Solar panels convert sunlight photons into electricity (Voltage) using silicon semiconductor cells, charging the onboard battery.

Energy Storage

A rechargeable Li-ion or Lead-Acid battery stores electrical energy to provide a stable current to the DC motor, even in shade.

Transmission

A high-torque DC Gear Motor transfers rotational power to the wheels via a shaft or pulley system to drive the chassis forward.

Construction Guide

Follow these steps to build your model.

1

Chassis Design

Cut a lightweight base using MDF board or Acrylic sheet. Mark positions for wheels.

Axle & Motor

Mount the DC Gear Motor using clamps. Attach wheels to the motor shaft and dummy axle.

Solar & Circuit

Install the Solar Panel on top. Wire the Panel -> Switch -> Battery -> Motor circuit.

4

Test Drive

Place in sunlight to charge. Turn on the switch and test the car's speed and stability.
