How to Make It?

Follow these simple steps to build your model.

Housing

Use a small cardboard box (like a shoebox or toothpaste box). Cut 3 circular holes for the lights.

Mounting LEDs

Insert Red, Yellow, and Green LEDs into the holes. Use colored cellophane paper for better effect.

Wiring

Connect the negative legs of LEDs together (Ground). Connect positive legs to switches/battery via resistors.

The Pole

Mount the box on a black painted PVC pipe or stick. Attach it to a base for stability.

The Logic

Traffic Rules & Circuitry

Red Light (Stop)

Indicates danger or stop. Placed at the top for maximum visibility.

Yellow Light (Wait)

Signal to prepare to stop or go. Acts as a buffer between Stop and Go.

Green Light (Go)

Indicates safety to proceed. Placed at the bottom.
